In recognition of Peter Medawar the "father" of transplantation immunology, and founding Society chairman, the Society awards two prestigious medals at each annual congress to the young doctors/ scientists presenting the best clinical and scientific papers. The medals are awarded by competition following presentation in a specific session at the Society Congress. This year's winners are listed below.
